Who We Are

	Bloomfield Orchids is a grower-owned company dedicated to providing high-quality paphs (paphiopedilums) and phrags (phragmipediums).
	In the main greenhouse we use state-of-the-art computer controls to maintain ideal growing conditions. We start our compots and seedlings under lights in a specially designed grow room to create maximum heat and air movement for the orchids.
	We're located in Upstate New York in a suburb east of Rochester. W. Joe Kunisch, owner and grower, has been addicted to orchids for the last twenty plus years. Joe started out growing on a windowsill, graduated to lights, and, ultimately, built a greenhouse. We've been a commercial operation since 1990.
	While our main focus is mail order, you'll find us exhibiting and selling at the major orchid shows in the Northeast. We enjoy getting to know our customers and aim to please.  If you're not a customer now, we hope to hear from you soon.
